Film & Digital Media, MA
The MA in Film & Digital Media is intended for those who intend to progress to a PhD program in Media Studies or to pursue a career in media management. If your intended career path is as a creative filmmaker, then we recommend the MFA program.
The MA is a 30-36 hour, two-year degree. You will take courses such as Contemporary Film Theory and Storytelling in the 21st Century, as well as independent study and research opportunities. Each MA student will write a research thesis to finish their program. You can do research in media studies, media psychology and effects, or media management.
