Background
Dave Garcia works in Post-Production, Audio Production and Virtual Production, with an emphasis in both the aesthetic and technical aspects of the craft. He joined Baylor’s Film and Digital Media faculty in 2017, having taught at the university level since 2005. He is also a freelance producer/editor and has worked in the industry since 1997.
He has worked on multiple award-winning productions over the years, including narrative shorts, feature films, documentaries, music videos, commercials, and training videos. His goal as a teacher is to help students hone creativity, excellence, and integrity to honor God and to have a positive influence on media culture.
Dave also enjoys serving on church worship and media teams as a musician, technical director, and consultant, which he’s done for many years.
