Background
Zachary Sheldon is a Lecturer in the Department of Film & Digital Media. Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, he was inspired by Star Wars at an early age to get involved in filmmaking. This passion led him to pursue a degree in Communication with a focus in Integrated Media at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, before moving to Texas to continue his education first at Baylor University and now Texas A&M University.
Along the way, his interests have shifted some from film production to the examination of film and media’s interactions with culture, especially relations between media, religion, and culture.
